I’ve been either pregnant or nursing for the past 8 years of my life. Yes, I have quite a team of children (I just gave birth a few weeks ago to my 4th baby, a son). Over the course of the past few years I’ve realized something very liberating.
Even though I’ve been in perpetual “body transition”, (being pregnant, then nursing, then not nursing, then pregnant again) it’s no excuse to not feel and look beautiful.
When I was pregnant with my 2 year old, I found a company that specialized in amazing and beautiful, high quality nursing bras and maternity lingerie: Bella Materna. I recently placed an order for two maternity bras and just wanted to take a moment and say thank you. I had my son in May and have purchased about 10 different bras trying to find the right size and fit. Needing to buy a 36F was pretty hard since I could find the cup size, but the band size was always too big. Finding something that was sexy and supportive was so difficult.
After all but giving up I had a friend recommend you and went online to your website. I found two bras right away that I liked that were in my size. I ordered them and when they showed up they both fit perfectly. I actually cried with relief.
I wanted to send you a note and thank you for making good quality bras that fit well AND look good. When I need to buy bras again you will be the first place I go.

Dear Anne,
This is the second order I have placed for nursing bras from your company, I have 4 young children. I initially bought bras from maternity stores in the mall, much to my dismay. They were bulky, hot, hard for the children to nurse (because the cups were so thick) and I would get sore from them rubbing.
Since switching to your company's bras, I have been a very happy Mommy. I have been so pleased with the lightly padded nursing bras as they are very comfortable, easy to clean, look good under clothing and overall, are just a great product. Thank you for making such a attractive looking and great product! I can say I wish the price were a bit lower, however, with that being said and much consideration, I know these bras are a must for any nursing Mom!
I nurse(d) for at least a year, each one of my children and know that it would be great to have a product that is up to your standards. I have seen that some companies make "lacey type bras" however they do not offer the under-wire support like you bras do.(which a nursing Mom needs!) All that being said, I am really thankful for the products you already make! Thanks again!

I received the new bra today and it fits PERFECTLY! It is very comfortable and there is no gap between my breast and the bra. There is still a tiny bit of room (which is good for when my breasts swell when the milk comes in) that makes it perfect! I really appreciate all of your help and advice. I found Bella Materna in 2004 when I had my first child. After purchasing a 2 bras and a cami, I immediately fell in love with Bella Materna. Nursing is such a special experience and to enjoy it while wearing a product that feels so luxurious is like the cherry on top! In 2009, I had my second child and immediately contacted Bella Materna for a private fitting. My 2 new bras are beautiful and I’m even still using my bras from 5 years ago! The material is so soft, the pieces fit so well, and they lookso good it’s hard to recognize they are nursing bras. I constantly recognize the company by referring my friends as there is just nothing on the market I’ve found that’s even a close comparison to Bella Materna. If you plan to nurse, Bella Materna is your store. The customer service is exceptional. The fittings are private and discreet. The product is absolutely outstanding. Everything i have ordered from Bella Materna is GREAT!!! I love the nursing dresses and camisoles- they are the most comfortable of all the different nursing tops I have tried. Also LOVE the feel of the fabric, how well they wash and dry and return to shape, how they seem to cover up all the less-than-perfect parts ina nice subtle way- plus, I feel beautiful wearing them. Yay! And my baby seems to like how accessible dinner is...
Do you have any pants in that fabric?

I truely believe that you should invest in at least one good bra, whether you are nursing or not. A bra that fits correctly and looks and feels nice. Just like everyone should have one pair of really nice jeans. When I was pregnant for the second time around, I knew that I would invest in one really nice bra which had support. I gathered all my resources and came across Bella Materna, nursing bras to its finest. I went to their site and looked at all the bras they had to offer. They had so many bras that caught my eye, but I had to choose one that was practical for me. I chose the padded nursing bra. I wasn’t sure on size, so I had to measure myself exactly the way is was shown on the Bella Materna sizing chart. I came out to be a 34C. No way! I am usually a 32B, so it blew me away. So I ordered it in 34C, but I had major doubts that it would fit me.
The bra arrived, and it was soft to the touch. You could definitely tell it was finely made and was pure luxury. I looked at the bra and still had doubts it would fit me because the cups looked too big for my boobs. I tried it on and too my surprise, it fit PERFECTLY! The bra is made of quick drying Imported Italian Nylon/Lycra, which keeps moisture from sitting next to the body. Another plus, the fabric will not fade or pill and Okeo-TEx certified to be toxin free.
I love that the bra has an easy one-handed clasp with adjustable straps. The Special Strap Keep helps support your breast while you nurse. This is such a great bra, whether you on in your last trimester or when you are nursing. It is super comfortable and flattering to your curves. I love that its functionable and fashionable. I definitely think its worth the investment.

I like the support that it gives, there is a very secure feeling to
the under bust band, unlike most camis. Leaning over to place the bust
in the cup gives a nice supported look and feel, without the bust
spilling out of the sides, or the seaming riding up over the breast
tissue. The cut in the back portion evenly distributes the weight of
the bust, which is noticeable once you have your breasts placed
correctly in the cup. It also has the advantage of enhancing the bust
and cleavage, but without the loss of support that I usually associate
with that in several other lines of maternity/nursing wear,
particularly when there isn't an underwire.
I really have been impressed with the fabric -- I was initially dubious
since I usually use primarily cotton, but the blend absorbs sweat
nicely (important here in California!), while being smooth and easy
care (essential with a two- year old in tow). The versatility of the
piece is such that I suspect I will be wearing it long after nursing
is done, as it doesn't scream that its a nursing top.
I will certainly visit if I have a chance... and will likely be
scouting the dress version of the cami soon!
